Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, trenching, and debris removal tasks
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Operate hand/power tools and construction machinery safely
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Complete daily progress reports and quality checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
