Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including material handling, excavation, and debris removal
- Operate hand tools and light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) safely
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions precisely
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic understanding of construction site protocols and safety measures
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts (6am-4pm)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Willingness to pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required
- Team-oriented attitude with clear communication skills
