Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific guidelines
- Assist skilled trades with material preparation and equipment setup
- Maintain organized job sites by sorting debris and managing waste
- Complete daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with crew members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Basic understanding of construction site safety standards
- Reliable transportation to job sites in NY/IL
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Willingness to work flexible weekend hours (Sat/Sun)
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
