Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment safely
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions for construction tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Participate in daily safety briefings and adhere to OSHA standards
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations as needed
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain accurate time logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
