Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various construction tasks.
- Operate basic construction equipment and machinery under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and following safety protocols.
- Measure, cut, and handle materials accurately.
- Perform basic site preparation tasks such as digging, shoveling, or sweeping.
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy objects and work on your feet.
- Valid Driver’s License (preferred but not always required).
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA).
- Reliability and punctuality are a must.
- Experience in construction or general labor is a plus.
