Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Perform construction cleanup and debris removal across job sites
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, shovels, wheelbarrows) safely
- Read and interpret simple construction plans and measurements
- Maintain organized tool storage and equipment inventory
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturdays/Sundays) in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
