Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled tradespersons with framing, concrete work, and demolition
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Set up and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction/labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Availability for all weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) plus occasional weekdays
