Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project-specific tasks
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including debris removal and equipment maintenance
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and construction plans
- Operate machinery like jackhammers, saws, and drills under supervision
- Participate in site preparation and cleanup activities
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to site supervisor
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor or related experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
