Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling operations during night shift hours
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and compactors with precision
- Assist carpenters and masons with material staging and layout tasks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project-specific quality standards
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet nightly production targets
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to operate heavy machinery with proper certifications
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility to work 6 PM - 4 AM schedule with weekend availability
- Basic understanding of construction blueprints and safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Boston metro area
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
