Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment under supervision
- Assist carpenters and masons with layout, framing, and finishing workMaintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Manage inventory and restock materials as needed
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (will train)
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun 6AM-4PM)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screen
