Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, dirt, and obstacles before the work week begins.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Assisting Trades: Support carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by fetching tools, holding materials, and performing basic setup tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate power tools, forklifts, and heavy machinery (training provided).
- Quality Control: Help maintain high standards by ensuring work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Demolition: Assist in the dismantling of structures and removal of waste materials.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for 8+ hours a day, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a proven track record of showing up on time and working well within a team.
- Safety Awareness: Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Valid License: A valid Driver’s License is required for transportation to job sites.
