Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and ensuring safety compliance
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site cleanup, and basic installation tasks
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery under supervision
- Follow blueprints and project specifications to maintain quality standards
- Perform physical labor including lifting, digging, and carrying materials up to 50 lbs
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately
- Maintain organized work areas and proper waste disposal protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 6am-4pm)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Ability to work in all weather conditions with proper PPE
- Team-oriented attitude with clear communication skills
