Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project execution
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow precise construction instructions
- Operate light machinery (concrete mixers, saws) with proper training
- Load/unload construction materials safely and efficiently
- Complete daily progress reports and communicate with supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily on uneven terrain
- Team player with clear communication skills
