Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Load/unload materials and operate hand/power tools safely
- Assist skilled trades with concrete, framing, and finishing tasks
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Operate machinery like jackhammers, saws, and drills as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to safety and detail-oriented mindset
- Reliable transportation to job sites in San Jose/Ohio
- Must pass background check and drug screening
