Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including excavation, material handling, equipment operation, and site cleanup
- Read and interpret blueprints, safety protocols, and project specifications
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment and adhere to OSHA standards
- Operate power tools and machinery (saws, drills, forklifts) with proper training
- Collaborate with team members to meet weekend project milestones
- Report equipment issues and maintenance needs to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor or related experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work weekends (Saturdays/Sundays) and occasional overtime
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
