Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site prep, and cleanup
- Operate basic equipment (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Read simple blueprints and material lists for task execution
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding tasks
- Complete daily progress reports and tool inventory checks
- Support concrete pours, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-paid)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Orleans Parish
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Flexible availability for Saturday/Sunday shifts (6am-4pm)
