Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and basic construction tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (e.g., drills, saws, shovels)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including debris removal and equipment storage
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Support concrete work, demolition, and general site cleanup as needed
- Communicate effectively with team leads to ensure project milestones are met
- Perform physical tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs), digging, and prolonged standing
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – comprehensive training provided
- Must be physically capable of performing manual labor in various weather conditions
- Availability to work weekends (Saturdays/Sundays) with occasional weekday flexibility
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening
