Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Inspect completed work for quality standards and report issues
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines
- Participate in pre-shift safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience or trade school certification
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Class B CDL license preferred (training available for qualified candidates)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Minneapolis metro area
- Ability to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) and occasional overtime
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical assessment
