Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, equipment operation, and site preparation
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and carrying construction materials
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and safety hazards
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervisor guidance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions for task execution
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10 certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong work ethic with punctual and dependable attendance
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain)
- Team player with clear communication skills
