Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation including debris removal, excavation support, and material handling
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with tool setup, material delivery, and task completion
- Operate light machinery (saws, drills, compactors) under supervision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Maintain clean, organized job sites throughout shifts
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant construction experience preferred
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic tool knowledge (hammers, saws, levels, etc.)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required
