Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and demolition tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment with proper lifting techniques
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and trenching as required by project specifications
- Assist in erecting scaffolding, setting forms, and installing temporary structures
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking accurately
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Available for consistent weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday, 6am-4pm)
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for no-shows
