Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled trades with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup operations
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Operate power tools and machinery (e.g., saws, drills, forklifts) with proper certification
- Maintain organized work areas and report safety hazards immediately
- Collaborate with crew members to meet daily production targets
- Complete accurate timekeeping and equipment inspection logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid O-10 or OSHA 10 certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte metro
- Flexibility for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) with occasional overtime
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety-first practices
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
