Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled trades with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup activities
- Read and interpret blueprints, safety protocols, and project specifications
- Maintain organized job site with proper material storage and waste disposal
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Operate light machinery (e.g., saws, drills, compactors) with proper training
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or relevant trade training
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (will provide training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 6AM-4PM)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily with frequent bending/kneeling
