Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) under the direct supervision of a foreman.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Trade Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks as needed.
- Quality Control: Help ensure that work meets project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
