As a Laborer on our weekend team, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects, working closely with experienced professionals to ensure every site is prepared, safe, and ready for execution.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, obstacles, and hazardous materials.
- Material Management: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated areas.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks including digging, shoveling, and hauling.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various on-site duties as required.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50+ lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Driver's License: Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Safety Compliance: Understanding of basic construction safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Work Ethic: Strong reliability, punctuality, and willingness to learn new skills.
