Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites through material handling, debris removal, and ground clearing
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and light equipment safely
- Assist skilled trades with concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read blueprints and execute instructions from site supervisors
- Load/unload materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Complete daily equipment maintenance reports and safety checklists
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or relevant vocational training
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, levels, etc.)
- Strong teamwork ethic and clear communication skills
- Flexibility to work Saturdays/Sundays (6am-6pm shifts)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
