Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites, including clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up work areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Trade Support: Aid carpenters, masons, and electricians with daily tasks, including mixing concrete, cutting lumber, and holding materials.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and handheld equipment under supervision to complete assigned tasks.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets project specifications and adheres to quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following OSHA safety protocols and company regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform physical labor for extended periods, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction tools and safety gear is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
