Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Assist skilled trades with carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and electrical installations
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, forklifts) safely
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and comply with OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with crew members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred; training available
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with flexible hours
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
