Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on commercial/residential sites
- Prepare and clean job sites, including material handling and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for task execution
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and task coordination
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- NYC DOB Site Safety Training (SST) a plus
