Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation including excavation, debris removal, and material handling
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with basic construction tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment cleanliness
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Read blueprints and execute verbal instructions from supervisors
- Transport materials using carts, dollies, and light machinery
- Complete daily progress reports and quality checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or trade school certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong teamwork skills and punctuality for weekend shifts
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, drills, levels)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to travel to Georgia project sites monthly
