Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on construction sites
- Prepare and clean job sites including debris removal, material sorting, and equipment setup
- Perform manual tasks such as digging, shoveling, carrying materials, and operating hand tools
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work environments
- Support concrete pouring, framing, demolition, and finish work under supervision
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere to project timelines and communicate progress to site supervisors
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with ability to pass a background check
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for 8+ hours, and work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10-hour construction certification (provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively in teams
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
