Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and framers) with various tasks as directed.
- Operate and maintain basic construction tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain high safety standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, tiling, or other finishing work.
- Dig, grade, and prepare soil or foundations for new construction projects.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices and equipment operation.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Willingness to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
