Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout shift
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines
- Complete daily progress reports and time documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (no weekday commitment)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance for tardiness
