Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site cleanup
- Operate basic construction tools (shovels, wheelbarrows, saws) under supervision
- Assist skilled tradesmen with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site regulations
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect work areas for hazards and report issues to site supervisor
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain organized workspaces
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with flexible weekday availability
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- No prior experience required – training provided
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
