Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate basic construction equipment under supervision (e.g., jackhammers, concrete saws)
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA safety standards
- Assist skilled tradesmen with framing, demolition, and finishing tasks
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and construction plans
- Complete daily timecards and progress reports accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically strenuous tasks
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 4 PM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided if needed)
- Basic hand tool proficiency (hammers, saws, drills)
