Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and foundation work using hand/power tools
- Load/unload construction materials and operate equipment like jackhammers and saws
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing tasks
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions from site supervisors
- Perform debris removal and recycling in compliance with environmental standards
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred (training provided)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 6am-4pm)
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily on uneven terrain
- Previous construction experience or willingness to learn trade skills
