Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clearing, digging, and preparing construction sites according to blueprints and safety regulations.
- Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and organizing building materials, tools, and equipment on the job site.
- Assisting Trades: Supporting skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) by providing necessary labor and materials.
- Equipment Operation: Operating basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Site Cleanup: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area at the end of each shift.
- Concrete & Earthwork: Assisting with pouring concrete and performing basic earthwork and excavation tasks.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, and lifting.
- Lifting Ability: Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) regularly.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to arrive on time and stay until the job is done.
- Safety Conscious: Familiarity with basic construction safety protocols and willingness to wear PPE.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
