Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, operating hand tools, and debris removal
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation and cleanup activities
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and verbal instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure site safety
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, dollies, or basic equipment
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic knowledge of construction tools (hammers, saws, shovels, etc.)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and overtime as required
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions precisely
- Previous construction or warehouse experience a plus
