Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material installation and structural assembly
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for task execution
- Load/un construction materials and equipment as needed
- Participate in daily safety briefings and site inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tool operation and safety procedures
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Greater Boston
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance policy for absenteeism
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible hours
