Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) and equipment (forklifts, compactors)
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finish work
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for project specifications
- Transport materials and equipment using company vehicles as needed
- Complete daily progress reports and safety documentation
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Experience with power tools and construction site machinery preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexible availability for early morning/weekend shifts
