Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling terrain, and setting up safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery safely
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site tasks
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read blueprints and interpret technical drawings for accurate task execution
- Transport materials using forklifts or wheelbarrels as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for measuring and material calculations
- Flexibility for 6 AM starts and occasional weekend work
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided)
