Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites through material handling and equipment setup
- Perform physical tasks including excavation, lifting, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely
- Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry, masonry, and electrical work
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications
- Complete daily progress reports and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- OSHA 10 certification (provided if not already certified)
- Background check and drug test required
- Experience with construction equipment preferred
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
