Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons with material handling, site preparation, and tool operation
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely using proper techniques
- Maintain clean, organized job sites by removing debris and securing tools
- Operate hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills) under supervisor guidance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and moving materials
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing operations as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED acceptable)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Strong work ethic with punctual, reliable attendance
- Willingness to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Team player with clear communication skills
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
