Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and accurately distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
- Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with various tasks to ensure project timelines are met.
- Prepare construction sites by digging trenches, clearing debris, and leveling ground as directed.
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely, following all operational guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in the installation of building components.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly and perform physical labor in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
