Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to meet safety standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions precisely
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical fitness assessment
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (paid training provided)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Austin
