Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and demolition tasks following OSHA safety standards
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment under supervision
- Load/unload materials, transport debris, and maintain organized job sites
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and support tasks
- Read blueprints and follow verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Perform daily equipment maintenance checks and report malfunctions
- Adhere to project timelines while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily availability
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
