Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with material handling, site prep, and cleanup duties
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform basic concrete work, trenching, and excavation support
- Assist in scaffolding setup/breakdown and temporary structure installation
- Participate in daily team briefings and project progress meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in varied weather
- Valid driver's license preferred; reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
