Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate construction equipment safely (forklifts, jackhammers, power tools)
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work environments
- Assist carpenters and masons with installation and framing tasks
- Read blueprints and technical drawings for project accuracy
- Load/unload materials and organize job sites efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong teamwork skills and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- California driver's license required
