Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and marking hazards
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, mixing concrete, and operating power tools
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, carrying materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Complete daily timecards and report maintenance issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (will train)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
