Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and directing equipment
- Mix concrete, pour foundations, and assist with framing and finishing tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment cleanliness
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for precise project execution
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and maintain organized work areas
- Assist skilled tradespersons with material handling and installation
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and overtime as needed
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
